The ending was compelling enough to make me want to read the next book in the series, Ambrosia, I really want to know what happens. I'm still at teenage age and i don't use Goodreads but i had to leave some type of review for this amazing book! And with a slew of other crimes hitting the area, from counterfeit goods to a violent drugs gangs swamping Denton with cheap heroin, the stakes have never been higher. And what do you know king Torin is looking for fae women to be part of this years tournament to see so will be his queen.

Due to the natural characteristic of the waxed canvas and leather used in production, each pack is individual and will have slight colour variations, this is to be expected and is in no way a fault with the product. But I loved her bff and their banter, I loved the personalities of both MCs and the trials kept me on the edge of my seat! But the writing is engaging enough that even those that aren’t fans of that particular theme will still enjoy this book. N. Crawford depicts Ava's journey of coping with her cheating boyfriend on her birthday, leading her to insult the Faerie King while intoxicated. I have so many “favorite” characters in all of the series that picking just one would be impossible. Crawford are Wall Street Journal bestselling authors of fantasy romance and urban fantasy--not one person but two. the FMC Ava is spunky and hilarious, the prince Torin is actually a pretty standup MMC, and the competition is fierce.

As the despised winter approaches, she realises that she can get her case back if she wins the Falcon Queen games. Now, they are both back in Faerie and what began as a fake relationship starts turning into a mess of feelings and passion. She has no idea of her origins or parents and was abandoned before later being adopted by her human mother.DS Jack Frost is working under his mentor and inspiration DI Bert Williams, and coping badly with his increasingly strained marriage. She has spunk even if her life just turned real ugly and she isn't one just to bow her head to a king, particularly when he is coming into the human world. Written and directed by Paul Auster, The Inner Life of Martin Frost shows him at his mesmerizing best, juggling fiction and reality.

I originally came across this one as part of a book tour and there is a giveaway for this one on Instagram RIGHT NOW if you want to enter to win a hardback copy of this one. And when the murdered boy’s sister goes missing, Frost and Waters must work together to find her – before it’s too late.

We have Frost, our main character who has always wanted to see the world, and her robot servant, Bunt (who also carries the memory and personality of her father, Alex). Torion is a fae fuckboy, and he knows he's handsome, but I was rooting for him nonetheless because he's broken and I can fix him, okay? It wasn't the most original or intricative of stories (although all the princesses and their clans were a bit confusing), but I loved it. I had hoped my venture into the fae world would be rollicking, but unfortunately, it left me feeling sad that I didn’t get even half of it.

Hodder are to be commended for producing a nice little book, with the design element of the lens tying it together, amongst all the words.

They weren’t lying when they said that this is the perfect combination of The Bachelor meets Hunger Games. This wasn’t a graphic one and this is definitely a slow burner but despite that Ava and Torin had so much raw chemistry and I’m looking forward to the second book in this duet. To the waters and the wild With a faery, hand in hand, For the world’s more full of weeping than you can understand. Ava is so over douche bags and pretty fuck boys after getting cheated on by her boyfriend Andrew who she's been supporting!
