I don't get much of the BDC citrus in the opening - yes there is definitely some citruses, but substantially different from the ones found in BDC (might be the addition of mint to the latter that gives that extra sparkles). I’ve not tried Chanel Allure Sport but have tried Versace Pour Homme and whilst there are similarities, I don’t think they’re too close. I live in Eastern Europe where it's cold now, so I was like: maybe in warmer weather it will show a different side.

We’re never quite sure how perfumers can translate fragrant ingredients to smell exactly like certain materials feel [shhh!After about 30 minutes the sweetness from the vanilla orchid amped up quite a bit and gave it a noticeable vanilla note. When it was released in 2017, I originally hated it for the longest time because of how the synthetic apple and ginger were done as well as the persistent projection.

This can be worn to school classrooms, job interviews, office meetings, church, hospital visits, gyms and daytime casual dates. It's not unpleasant but I sold a decade old bottle of VPH because it was linear from start to finish to this aquatic slightly mandarin scent. Parfum (Fragrance), Aqua (Water), Limonene, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Coumarin, Citronellol, Linalool, Citral, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Isoeugenol. All the cosiness of borrowing your other-half’s best sweater and delighting in the comfort of the soft texture while breathing in their scent. On me it dies down rather quickly and while doing so the scent is very linear, not much going on here.Those notes stay but as they lesson the woods and musk that have been supporting the fragrance all along gradually work their way to the front. This is not some cheap clone -- but it also isn't Chanel, so if you're hoping it's a replacement for BDC. If you want a great wearable scent that is very hard to dislike for most people who smell you then you could do so much worse than Missoni Wave, What more do you want. Thank goodness the bottle is little so I can take it with me to blind others with kindness while letting them use this up with me lol. The weak projection on BDC is one of the downsides (although it's good for an office enviroment, I would've liked a better projection).

Overall, while I will miss the opening of BdC, I believe Missoni's rendition is slightly more refined and balanced.
