About this deal

It's more versatile too as I see myself wearing it during summer days and nights, casual or slightly more formal - and enjoying it more. I don't get a lot of the floral notes that are mentioned but I do get all sorts of smells including tea, aldehydes, various citrus notes (very gentle) and vetiver and tonka bean at various points. What you'll get is a heavy tea fragrance that dries down with some earthy sweetness; it's smart and sophisticated!

It's not bad but there are a lot of other fragrances of this type I would reach for first such as Mugler Cologne. Although I'm satisfied and enjoying the soft, gentle wafts of musky vetiver, I think I would have enjoyed the listed notes of Tea and Amber and Tonka as well yet my skin is not projecting those favorite notes of mine. Far higher citrus, wood and spice shares make BPHE a much more ordinary fresh scent, although I would have expected otherwise. The effect you get when you spray is instant glory: calming and confident altogether, but not in a defiant, "look at me" kind of way. This smelled natural, clean, sexy and wonderful from the moment it's sprayed on until the long lasting and thrilling base note faded.

I don't have the original, but as I understand it it's essentially just a souped up version of the original that lasts longer and has a little bit more depth to it. Performs better than Starwalker too, however still a short lived fragrance at approximately 4 hours.

Top notes are Tea, Grapefruit, Bergamot, Neroli, Petitgrain, Coriander, Lavender and Galbanum; middle notes are Balsam Fir, Guaiac Wood, Pepper, Nutmeg, Brazilian Rosewood and Cardamom; base notes are Musk, Cedar, Iris, Oakmoss and Sandalwood. Everyone needs a nice pressed neutral button-down shirt, that you can use with any outfit or situation. Some people say it lacks longevity; however they are Wrong as this easily sticks to your body for 9+ hrs, your body needs lil heat to automate the silage process that inturn creates longevity. Usually I associate "woody", with a deeper, winter-type fragrance, but this is a good fresh fragrance even in hot weather. The Time might add more violet for a more fluorescent feel, or Wulong Cha might lean into semi-sweet citrus.Bvlgari Pour Homme opens with a sharp musky, aromatic and woody accord with tea and some bright citrus.

Even though back then, and fairly now too - I've found the scent of this to be too bold and "extreme" for my subtle tastes, it's still fairly refreshing and feels quite sophisticated to wear. I admit there are few individual notes I can discern, the composition is seamless and definitely adds up to more than the sum of its parts. The weaving of the aromatic threads and olfactive colors "just so" truly makes BPH more than the sum of the parts. The projection and the sillage were not powerful but at least some people could recognise and it lasted on my skin for 5 - 6 hours. I think that it can still be a good fragrance to use even in the winter but it is definitely better for warmer seasons.
