Though 98% of their songs are about getting/losing girls, the Fratellis are more like horny but harmless schoolboys than dirtbag lotharios, more mischievous than malicious.

Witch you will find very hard , as they are all so fantastic the lyrics are so catchyand so well mixed to the musicBeing a new band or group to me. And, in the pantheon of iPod pitchmen bands, will the Fratellis be the next Jet or just the next Caesars? What if the Arctic Monkeys didn't care about street cred and signed to a major instead of trying to keep it real on Domino? The band were flown to LA to record the album in the Sunset Sound recording studio, which was previously used by Bob Dylan and the Beach Boys.

There's nothing terribly complicated about the Fratellis' debut album, Costello Music , but that's by no means a criticism. This version of the album also contained the videos for "Flathead", "Chelsea Dagger", and "Henrietta", which could be viewed directly from the disc using an Adobe Flash program. No, it's okay though, what I did like was the cover art, and I just may get another different album in the future. Paul McNamee of NME noted that most tracks on the album told a story; " Henrietta", tells the story of an older woman who stalks the song's narrators; "Vince the Lovable Stoner" is about a man with a drug addiction, and "Chelsea Dagger" is said by Jon Fratelli to be about a showgirl.

And it's a pace--and an attitude--that doesn't let up, from the jumpy opening bars of "Henrietta" to the groupie-reminiscing of "Ole Black'n'Blue Eyes". Sal Cinquemani of Slant Magazine said that "they sound like songs by about 15 other Britpop acts" but went on to say "it's one thing to copy a look, a sound, or a formula, it's another to do it so utterly convincingly and with such infectious raucousness". Glaswegian indie sensations the Fratellis finally release their anticipated debut album, Costello Music. Cataloging a lover's spat on "For the Girl", frontman Jon Fratelli explains she "she was into the Stones, I was into the Roses," but his band's traditionalist pub rock makes you wonder why the girl's preference for the geezers would be such a thorny issue.Yes I know they are 'Indie' but these boys style origins come more from the gods of guitar wielding stompin rockin 70's glam rockers than the likes of Coldplay. Costello Music features 13 tracks including the hit singles 'Chelsea Dagger', 'Whistle for the Choir' and 'Henrietta', as well as cuts from their limited edition eponymous EP. The music is fantastic and I would highly recommend this album but I only know this from past experience of the album as I can't access it on my phone. Following the release of the album, the Fratellis embarked on a tour of the UK festival circuit, headlining at popular festivals such as NME's Rock ‘n’ Riot tour and T in the Park 2007, amongst others.
