In production, they use two distillation techniques, maceration and vapor infusion, to create McQueen, making small batches of just 500 litres at a time! McQueen Gin was created with the aim of generating an adventurous gin drinking experience which is unlike any other, bringing unique and exciting flavours to the market which meet the demands of the ever-evolving audience of gin lovers.Since then, McQueen Gin has gone from strength to strength, picking up numerous awards for the brand, packaging and products.

It's distilled with 21 botanicals gathered from all over the world, including six signature botanicals, that are rarely found in gin - basil, rosemary, fennel seed, calamansi, star anise and acai. McQueen And The Violet Fog’s fragrant gin is presented in a fabulous and unusual bottle that will look great on your home bar! However, while this gin is a real treat for anyone who loves fruity gins, the taste is natural, refreshing and exactly what you’d expect from a gin like McQueen.Packaging is a key focus for McQueen Gin, with distinctive bottle designs that reflect the character of each gin. The ‘magic’ comes from the blue petals of the Asian butterfly flower, which change from a pale sapphire to pink when its PH levels are altered. Maceration: 15 of our 21 botanicals are blended in a copper pot still and steeped for 24 hours, extracting the flavours and essential oils.

With demand and growth over the next fews years came the opening of the Robert McQueen building in 2019. We produce small batches in a dedicated traditional copper pot still, redefining the term for “ quality over quantity”. The result is a gin that tastes like Indian basil leaves, Portuguese rosemary, Mediterranean fennel seeds, Calamansi from the South Pacific, star anise from Vietnam and Acai from Brazil. Produced thousands of miles away from most other gins, on the hills of Jundiaí in Brazil, with a beautiful subtropical climate year round. Initially, 15 plant substances are macerated in a neutral sugar cane spirit to extract flavour compounds and essential oils.I honestly have never heard of this before, but I was recommended this gin by a friend and was really taken by the taste!
