It’s also smells a fair bit like Gentlemen Only by Givenchy, and a little like Voyage and Terre d’Hermes. Intense violet flowers are softened with water flowers and enhanced by refreshing notes of sea spray. Although not advertised as such, this designer perfume contains a lot of orange blossom as well as a lovely fresh rose.

Although it essentially turned into Guerlinade, the designer fragrance this most smells like is without a doubt La Vie Est Belle by Lancome, especially the eau de parfum version. The lack of sweetness in most of them is pleasant and refreshing when it’s muggy, so I was happy to try a few out myself, as well as handing them over to my fella for testing. Other similar fragrances in this family include La Nuit Tresor by Lancome, Lolita Lempicka L’Eau en Blanc, and Armani Si. Very light, unobtrusive fragrance for office and weekend wear, feels ‘clean’ and has moderate lasting power. If you enjoyed this review, I’ve written another article about some of Milton Lloyd’s newest fragrances for women and men. They have a bit of alcohol blast, (and with Milton Lloyd you are literally blasted with the stuff because the sprayer is a continuous, fine, but powerful mist), but as soon as it dries, that goes away completely. I'm splashing out on loads of Milton Lloyd fragrances, since they are so cheap you can afford to make a mistake and when they're good, they're great. Then, a few minutes later they started to fade and the iris and other flowers started to show themselves. It might actually be a bit more like Dunhill Desire with less apple, which is more oriental-woody than fougere.

It looks like it’s leaning very closely towards Chanel Allure Homme Sport, but it also reminds me a little of Egoiste Platinum in the drydown (amber, vetiver, galbanum, cedar – and created by the same parfumier). Here’s a review for you and what I think they smell like – seeing as the parent company is known for creating ‘renditions’ and smell-a-likes.

It most obviously smells like Bleu de Chanel, and it’s a bit similar to Chanel Egoiste Platinum as well although I can’t make out any obvious lavender (they were designed by the same parfumeur and share a sort of ‘backbone’ of notes). To my nose, this is a light, fresh strawberry-musk fragrance that dries down to almost a skin scent. The blended heart of lavender, tonka beans and cedar maintains the freshness on the rich tenacious base notes of warm. Our most luxurious and prestigious collection yet; with the finest perfumery ingredients, selected by the most inspired perfumers offered at the highest concentration - This is what makes Milton-Lloyd's new range The Perfumer's Choice. This floral spicy heart is deepened with the rich notes of Lotus Wood and the base combines Patchouli and.
