I don't know if that's how the effect works or its just a design but gotta watch for what can roll underneath it so you don't puncture it. The new enclosure makes it harder to access the binding posts because it dispenses with the formerly cone-shaped recesses that cleverly guided wire tips into the posts and replaces them with holes that make the job more like threading a needle. Speaker terminals are inset and spring-loaded, most likely meaning some fiddling about with bare-wire cable, but this does mean the cabinets can fit flush to a wall (keyhole fixings are provided for wall-mounting). Consider me a total noob at everything and someone whos on a budget, hence why I'm going with the Reference Theater Pack. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. There was something special about those AcoustaComp enclosures, though, and I hope they make a comeback someday.

Would definitely recommend this set if you’re looking for good satellites and a good sub that sound really nice. The horn-loaded tweeters made them almost too colorful; when perspective shifted within a scene, the transition was dramatic. Don't for a second underestimate the pint-size Klipsch Reference Theater Pack's capabilities; this system can deliver a heavy punch in a small room.
