Undoubtedly, the build overall is excellent. Each strut and rod of the adjustment piece is solid metal and the headphone itself feels very dense and weighted. We'd say to expect the Logitech MX Master 4 to be released either late this year or early next if we were to throw our hat in the ring. Sony’s still pushing its 360 Reality Audio offering too, which is its homegrown immersive audio format, putting you in the middle of a surround-sound mix, and it’s still impressive –even if actually accessing its library is limited to just a few streaming services, and the catalogue’s growth has been slow. The XM4 look a bit bulkier and clumsier by comparison. Customers may need to update their Sony | Headphones Connect app for this software to be activated. I could do with just a little more give and freedom in that regard, just a bit less caliper pressure would have been, at least for me, subjectively desirable. However, that pressure does not really filter into the overall comfort factor. The headphone is comfortable to me. I just wish it were lighter and that it offered a lesser clamping force. That’s not the end of the world, though, as the design of the 1000XM3 is refined and subtle, allowing it to blend in on subway stations, planes and offices without drawing any attention.All these factors combine to produce a very comfortable fit. There’s just enough pressure to grip your ears and get a solid seal around them without the headphones feeling too loose. Because the grip isn’t as vice-like as some rivals, though, and the fact the headphones still don’t have an IP rating (for water and dust resistance), we wouldn’t recommend using them during exercise. People who place a higher priority on size versus strength.In general, a bigger muscle is a stronger muscle, and one of the side effects of training for muscle growth is an increase in the amount of weight you can lift. However, maximizing the speed at which you gain size or strength will require different training methods. If your main goal is to make your muscles bigger, and you’re not too bothered about smashing your bench press or deadlift PR, MX4 is for you. Just like the XM4, it supports Sony's hi-res LDAC music codec (but not aptX or aptX HD), DSEE Extreme (which upscales music files in real time), and Sony's 360 Reality Audio tech, giving you virtual surround sound.
