We've added a link to the newly-reviewed NuPhy Air75 V2 in the Single-Key Latency section of this review. I don’t normally like RGB too much, but its implementation here is wonderful. It’s controllable with the key combinations on the keyboard itself, and they’re all detailed in the excellent instruction manual – which doubles as a poster of an anime girl. For some reason. You can see details for other variants and configurations below. We expect our test results to apply to all models. Name Lenovo is making a big deal about the pen, and I think it's with good reason. Here is what they say it is capable of and what inspired it from their press release:

I am a big fan of these switches and their more pronounced tactile bumps, although you may feel differently depending on how you like your switches to feel. The keyboard and mouse are compatible with both PC and the Xbox X/S console, meaning you can enhance your gaming experience across both platforms. So whether you received a copy of Halo Infinite for Christmas, have gift money to splash, or simply want the ultimate Halo-themed PC setup, now's an excellent time to buy. Do I honestly need a new keyboard, headset, mouse, and oversized mat that lights up? Of course not. But would seeing a desk full of Halo Infinite-inspired gear give me a childlike sense of joy every time I enter my office? You betcha, and that’s the beauty of limited edition hardware. Lenovo also boasts that the keyboard "constantly 'learns about and adapts to' the typing habits of its user, with built-in prediction and artificial learning software. This software also allows for continuous optimization." Of course, we'll need to test it out to see how good it is compared to physical keys.

The bump here is at the top of the keystroke, which I prefer. Each key switch is lubed as well, so they sound and feel smooth all across the board. I am a big fan of these switches and their more pronounced tactile bumps, although you may feel differently depending on how you like your switches to feel. Thankfully, if you’re a fan of different key switches, there are plenty of other options to choose from. There are linear options, that have no tactile bump. Gamers prefer this variety because they are easier to press, and they have a perceived higher point where the key registers the press. The Halo in the name of the board comes down to a ring of light around the edge of the board that illuminates and shifts in the RGB color spectrum. That’s on the outside of the board, but also on the inner edge of the keyboard. It’s slim, and unobtrusive, but looks brilliant. It illuminates your desk as well, and if you’ve got the frosted wrist rest, lights that up with the light diffused by the acrylic. The Silicon in the case, the Ghost bar, the keycaps, and the key switches all add up to make the keyboard sound incredible. It sounds almost as good as some custom keyboards, and, crucially, costs an awful lot less. There are some great prebuilt boards out there, but this one really offers more than others at a similar price. For those that want a number pad, then there’s the Wombat Pine Pro that we’ve reviewed, and for similarly specced 75% boards there’s IQunix and its lines of boards.

The stabilizers on the longer keys like enter, shift, and the space bar are smooth, wobble, and noise free. These stabilizers keep the longer keys, well, stable, making sure that a keypress feels the same no matter where on the key you press. This is a great sounding board that feels and sounds great to type on. Lenovo’s hoping to squeeze around 15 hours of mixed-use battery life from the Yoga Book, but its 8,500mAh battery also supports fast-charging, so it should be relatively easy to top up throughout the day if you’re running low. A fast charger is included in the box, and Lenovo claims you’ll be able to get 80% in just 50 minutes. Some of these games only feature limited support, which means they might only work with keyboard or mouse, or might also require a controller to progress through the menus. The pen itself has 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity, and comes with two tips – one for drawing either onscreen or on the keyboard, and one for paper. The device has built-in palm rejection, too, so you can rest your hand on either surface without making any accidental marks, and all your notes are instantly converted into OneNote – or, if you’re using the Android version (yes, there will be two different models of the Yoga Book – one Windows and one Android), your notes will be saved to Lenovo’s proprietary Custom Note saving app.Wired USB mice will work only in select games and apps that have enabled mouse navigation. Plug a USB keyboard into your Xbox for getting around the console and easy text entry." We've converted this review to Test Bench 1.3, which overhauls how key input is evaluated. We've added new tests for Single Key Latency, Multi Key Latency, Data Transmission, and Chord Split. We've also introduced a new Raw Performance usage and adjusted how the Gaming and Office usage scores are calculated. You can see the full changelog here. Still, even if it is a little twitchy at first, Lenovo’s artificial learning software should make typing easier with time, as the keyboard will learn exactly where your fingers land when you hit certain keys and automatically adjust. For instance, if you always hit the spacebar below its defined area, then the Halo Keyboard will remember that and still register the keypress for you. The same goes for letter keys as well, and there’s even a predictive text engine, allowing you to type as fast as you would on a normal mobile device. Original story: You're probably well aware that the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S all feature mouse and keyboard support in certain games, but you might not be aware of how far it extends, with over 100 games supporting it! I will say Lenovo is fair about expectations for the Halo keyboard. They say it's better than what traditional tablets offer (no doubt), but fall short of saying it trumps a physical keyboard instead saying that it is "comparable."
