My experience with the Bumbo change pad is 8/10, and I can definitely see why this is the top Keekaroo Dupe on the market. For babies with sensitive skin, and parents aiming to have fewer artificial chemicals in their home, Naturepedic's changing pad is made with an organic cotton fill and organic cotton fabric with food-grade polyethylene waterproofing made from sugarcane. These include car seats, potty seats, bath toys, bath-related items, breast pumps and accessories, bottles, cosmetics, diapers, feeding products, and more. These restrictions are in place to ensure the integrity of the products and protect the health of customers.

Some changing pads also feature anchoring straps to attach them to a table or dresser, ensuring additional safety while changing your baby. Dr. Orajiaka recommends this option, if possible. Below, I’ve come up with a list of the factors I think are important when searching for a perfect baby change mat: Overview: The Hatch Changing Pad is a budget-friendly option that doesn’t compromise on quality. Designed with practicality in mind, it provides a comfortable changing surface without breaking the bank. Pros:The idea behind the slope is that any pee that happens while your baby is diaperless on the changer will run away from their head and body, perhaps even pooling down near their feet. The top image shows the steeper angle near the head of the Bumbo changer, and the bottom image shows the slightly less steep angle of the change pad near the foot. Standing out from other diaper changing pads, the Keekaroo Peanut Changer is not only durable to stand up to everyday demands and comfortable for easy clean up, but the Keekaroo Peanut Changer is safe! Resistant to tears and peels, the strong outer skin helps the changer limit bacteria growth and limits mold from everyday use. The Peanut Changer is also slip resistant, staying put on the table and keeping your little one in place during changing. This really depends on the type of changing pad you invest in. If you opt for the Kekaroo Peanut, there’s no need. However, if you’re in favor of a more plush option, it’s definitely a good way to protect your changing pad from stains and the baby from a cold or uncomfortable surface. The downside is this means more laundry. If you do use a changing pad cover, I’d suggest using one that’s waterproof. Where Should The Changing Pad Go? At the end of the day, there’s no doubt this is an expensive changing pad, too. And ultimately, I do think both the Keekaroo Peanut and Leander are both great choices. Compare this to the Keekaroo and Hatch, which weighs more like 7 pounds and 7.5 pounds, respectively, and it’s way lighter and more agile for moving around your house for changes.

Elevated Edges: The raised sides of the Peanut provide a safe and secure space for your baby, preventing them from rolling off during changes.

Expert Reviews

The material of the Summer Infant changing pad is lightweight but sturdy. Universal disposable covers fit the changing pad well, and it stays put on nearly any typical changing table. This changing pad is a great item to put on your baby registry. The pad itself is soft enough for most babies to feel cushion beneath them rather than a hard surface. This Keekaroo dupe is more of a Keekaroo alternative, I would say: that is, it’s about the same price as a Keekaroo peanut changer, but a bit of a different design. There’s also a slight slope on the changing pad so if your child urinates while you have them on the pad, then the urine will most likely flow down the slight incline instead of the pool beneath your baby.
