Sanguinius is bound to be happy with those new looks. As with the other Legions, such as the Death Guard, White Scars, and Emperor’s Children, there’s also a set of moulded shoulder pads coming out – the ideal way to finish off your miniatures. World Eaters MkII Torsos: (October 7th, 2022) Named for a Terran avian seen by many cultures as the herald of fate and messenger of death, the Raven Guard have served the Emperor faithfully throughout the glories of the Unification Wars, the Great Crusade and the dark days of the Horus Heresy and beyond. From its earliest days, the warriors of the XIX th Legion were known as cunning and patient hunters, adept at biding their time until the moment to strike was at hand. Finally, if you are keen on your fluff, you can take a 350 pt version of Corax in the context of a narrative campaign, representing him wounded in Isstvan V. This makes him 5 W 5 A, with a 3+/5+ and no Korvidine Pinions or Archeotech pistols. He has an Assault 3 Heavy Bolter and Hatred (Traitor Legions), Infiltrate and Scout. Definitely worse, but good fun! ok, so just before I get into it, I need to call out the Elephant in the room. and no, I don’t have any inside knowledge of these boxes before the release, well. Well, like most other content creators I know how to find out the prices of releases on Monday before said release. So the box prices below are confirmed in the Uk. but they are assumed for other regions. We’re not sure if you noticed, but last week Warhammer quietly launched a new product. Entitled Warhammer 40,000: Leviathan, it pits two factions – called ‘the Space Marines’ and ‘the Tyranids’ – against one another in a struggle for the fate of the galaxy. It sounds pretty exciting if you ask us!

It’s clear the Iron Fists have at least 1 upgrade sprue, but none of the other 3 sets show them being used, except maybe 1 White Scars Biker head. There are 40 miniatures, 23 for the Chaos Cult, and 17 assorted Inquisitorial Agents. Seven of these are brand-new dual-build miniatures that allow you to build a rag-tag band of hyper-talented weirdos. The set also contains the Ashes of Faith Campaign Rulebook with all the rules for playing out this planet-spanning narrative, and dozens of accessories. Raven Guard MK X power armour shoulder pad (designed for Characters or Sergeants from Hellblasters/Intercessors squads) Traitor Legions got up to all sorts of despicable nonsense in the latter days of the Horus Heresy, such as creating abhorrent assassins known through the Cults Abominatio. The Infernus Abomination, available next week in resin, is a shape-shifting terror, reknitting flesh and bone into deadly weapons. Contemptor Dreadnought Torso UpgradesEven before joining their Primarch, the XIX Legion were winning hide-and-seek-and-stab championships throughout the Unification Wars. Drawn from the slaving Xeric tribes of the Asiatic Dustfields, the XIX were the Emperor’s weapon for ending wars before they began – but while the V Legion raced ahead of Imperial forces , these pale saboteurs crept into place to assassinate leaders and strike at the enemy’s soft bits. Very honourable. Nothing too insane, but if you really want to show off that legion pride, then these are going to be right up your alley! Iron Warriors Upgrade Kits

If you want a glimpse into the mind of the Primarch, Corax: Lord of Shadows takes us into the depths of the Great Crusade. And if you’re after more tales about their harassment campaign after Isstvan, Corax compiles a number of short stories – including the Raven Guard’s desperate rescue of Leman Russ after his defeat by Horus . Harsh Medusan style transforms the smooth lines of the Contemptor Dreadnought into a segmented plate of rivets and hard iron. The Iron Hands insignia has pride of place on the chest, in case the cybernetic tubing didn’t make it clear enough. Night Lords First to release are resin torso-and-head upgrade sets for six Legions – the Sons of Horus, Imperial Fists, Dark Angels, Emperor’s Children, White Scars, and Iron Warriors. The Raven Guard are a Codex-Compliant chapter and follow those guidelines when it comes to company colors/shoulder pad trim and markings. They use white gothic script on the left knee pad for squad number. One thing to note with Raven Guard however is the way they do their battlefield role designations – rather than using solid white Shapes Raven Guard use white outlines to denote the unit’s battlefield role. I love Maun as a character. He’s a great mixture of support and front line. On the tabletop you pay 140 pts for an Artificer armoured Praetor, with a Power Sword, a Nightfall pattern strato-vox and the Bleeding Edge rule.

Painting Raven Guard

Reduced to a shadow of their former selves, the XIX devoted their efforts to doing what they could – striking fast, from the darkness, to destroy as much of the Traitor war materiel and assets as they could, before the arch-enemy marched on Terra. Troll Slayer orange corner highlight. I usually don’t go all the way up to Troll slayer on regular dudes, but reserve it for characters with a lot of red on them, like chaplains and captains. This upgrade kit comprises 10 resin components and is designed to be assembled with the MKVI Tactical Squad set, which is sold separately. These components are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints. Ultramarines MKVI Heads: January 21st, 2023 Each box has a similar theme, One, (sometimes two) faction-specific, commander(s). Upgrade sprues, Then a load of space marine models.

The last batch of Contemptor Dreadnought torsos are on the way. They are designed to work with the new plastic Contemptor Dreadnought kit, to give your death-dealing walkers a dash of Legion flair. With Space Marines being the bread & butter of 40k forces, and with recent complaints of GW’s ongoing price inflations – This is a fantastic way of getting hands-on with a larger force for a little less. Ok, let’s get on with it. Space Marine Battleforces – Price, Value & Savings Assumptions

Go big on the creepy vibes with a set of 10 resin shoulder pads bearing the Night Lords Legion symbol, a charming mash up of skulls and leathery wings showing that Kurze’s lot are completely committed to the bit. Iron Hands MKVI Heads: November 25th, 2022
