Description

The Bushacre boot is made of flexible leather that can keep you comfortable throughout the day. Furthermore, it’s also available in suede for more classic attire. Another difference is the sole. The Clarks Bushacre 2 has a crepe sole, which is made of a soft, spongy rubber material that is flexible and provides good traction. The Clarks Bushacre 3 has a rubber sole, which is more durable and provides better traction on slippery surfaces. Clarks was founded in 1825. However, it wasn’t until 1950 when the designer (and founder), Nathan Clark, created the iconic Desert boot. Both the Clarks Bushacre 2 and Bushacre 3 have a similar price point, which may make it more difficult for an average consumer to choose one over the other.

Clarks Bushacre vs Desert Boots: Which Is the Better Choice? Clarks Bushacre vs Desert Boots: Which Is the Better Choice?

Finally, the Clarks Bushacre 2 and Clarks Bushacre 3 are both comfortable, stylish, and durable casual men’s boots that are well-known for their versatility. The main distinctions between the two are their style and fit. The Bushacre 2 has a more classic, traditional appearance, whereas the Bushacre 3 has a slightly more modern, streamlined appearance. As usual, this is a fresh out of the box fit test and my first impressions. Unfortunately, I can’t wear all of these in for months to see how they evolve. I do recall my old “Originals” getting better over time, though. I suspect that all of these will feel looser as they break in, so take that for what it’s worth. Genuine leather will last longer and is more durable than synthetic. Furthermore, real leather has a better appearance and will give the boot a more classic look. The Bushacre 3 fits a bit tighter, thanks to the removable insole and shorter toe box height. My toes do feel slightly cramped vertically here, but that may change over time. Because of this, the boot will rarely need conditioning and the leather is fairly water resistant without being treated. I wouldn’t take the Bushacre out in a rainstorm because it doesn’t stand much of a chance at keeping your feet dry, but at least there’s consolation knowing that if you get caught in the rain or step in a puddle, the leather won’t get water stains or shrink too much. The sole is durable and slip resistant, but it’s not the most comfortable for standing all day. I’m not on my feet for lengthy periods of time, so I never felt soreness when wearing these, but if you work in an industry where you’re standing for hours on end (service, medical, etc.) you may want to look at another boot with more cushion. You can treat leather and suede boots with a water-repellent spray to add protection from the elements. This is a particularly good idea if you plan on wearing them during the winter. Finally, the Clarks Bushacre 3 has a cushioned insole and padded tongue and collar, which may make it more comfortable to wear for extended periods. The Clarks Bushacre 2 does not have these features.

Got somewhere to be? Here are the pros and cons of the Clarks Bushacre 3 so you know if it’s right for you. Pro In comparison, the Bushacre, is a recent release, in 2005. The inspiration is taken from the style of the Desert boot but paired with a more durable sole. It was designed to suit a classic look while providing you with a reliable grip wherever you go.The Bushacre 2 is outfitted with a vulcanized rubber sole.
