Description

Dressmaker (Game Corner, Fantasy & Wonder Garden): The tamagotchi is standing next to a mannequin and they have an empty meter above them. The user has 12 seconds to mash the A button as much as they can to fill the meter. After 12 seconds, the tamagotchi will create a dress and its quality will depend on how full the meter is. The Korean name comes from the Korean phrase "something" (썸씽), a casual way about asking if something romantic is happening between two people. It is often shorted to just "ssome" (썸), a euphemism for ambiguous romantic relationships. Pompompurin appears again as a m!xable adult exclusive to the Sanrio Version of the Tamagotchi Meets. The traits he can pass down are his beret, round body, face, and Muffin the hamster.

Each round will have 3 questions. The Tamagotchi Smart is smaller than previous color-screen models, measuring 6.5 centimeters tall (approx. 2.5 inches), making it similar in size and weight to the Tamagotchi Connection and Tamagotchi Plus models. Bunny (Game Corner, Pastel): The tamagotchi is standing between two bushes looking for a bunny hiding behind them. A thought bubble will appear with left or right arrows and the user must press left (A button) or right (B button) to match the arrow's direction. Gift: A special version released in a gift set, this features all of the same locations as the 20th Anniversary version, but also includes exclusive access to Present Island and its characters. The Fairy ( メルヘン Fairytale) version was one of two released in November 2018 and released in the USA in July 2019. It features exclusive access to Fairy Land, and therefore the only version where interacting with and marrying Fairytchi and Unipegasatchi is possible. Piano Game: Three piano keys will appear on the bottom portion of the screen, and hearts will fall on the left, middle, or right side of the screen. The user must press the A, B, or C buttons correlating with the hearts as they get close to the piano keys. The game is a "Failure" if five hearts are missed, "Success" if 2-4 hearts were missed, and "Great Success" if 0-1 hearts were missed. Pressing the A and C buttons together closes the game. The Tamagotchi Smart has two ending sequences, both which occur based on different types of neglect. Like the m!x, The On/Meets/Some has no icons on the main screen, instead having the animations take up the screen's full resolution and the 10 icons appearing when A is pressed, with each icon's function appearing in a text box above. Each unit is bundled with a matching watch strap that attaches to the Tamagotchi through indents on the top and bottom sides, as well as a cable to charge the battery. On a full charge, the device can operate for about 30 hours on average, assuming the user actively uses the screen for about an hour each day and with all the sensors functional. The battery takes about two hours to reach a full charge, and it is recommended to remove it from the charger as soon as the battery is full. Pet: The user can pet the Tamagotchi by stroking the screen. Doing the wrong kind of petting motion such as twisting their face or poking them will make them upset. To prevent the battery from completely draining when the Smart is not being used for a long time, it is recommended to fully turn it off after charging it. This is done by pressing the reset button, holding both the reset and front button down until the ROM screen shows up, and letting the Smart idle on that screen until it turns off. Square: The Tamagotchi can meet and talk to various NPCs. Some NPCs appear at certain times of the day and some events occur on specific days at certain times. The upgrade to smooth animations unlike the lower FPS animations of previous color Tamagotchi releases.

Berry Town (excluded on 20th Anniversary & Gift): Eat the Berry Sundae at the restaurant 10 or more times. Sushi Bar (Food Town): The tamagotchi will say the sushi that they want and then the sushi will start moving on the conveyor belt. The Sanrio Characters ( サンリオキャラクターズ) version was released in Japan in June 2019. It features most of the m!xable Sanrio characters from the Sanrio m!x, in addition to several new additions such as Kuromi and Keroppi, and several exclusive locations such as the Strawberry Kingdom and Mariland. Certain foods will also change the Tamagotchi's body color if eaten three times. These colors include yellow, red, blue, white, pink purple, and grey. Departure: If the user takes good care of the Tamagotchi, never allowing it to sulk for too long and keeps the room clean, the Tamagotchi will leave on a journey with Hello Kitty once enough care mistakes are made. The final image is of the Tamagotchi and Hello Kitty visiting London. Like its predecessor, Tamagotchi Meets also has a Sanrio-themed variant that released in Japan in June 2019, which features Kuromi, Badtz-Maru, Keroppi, and Tuxedo Sam in addition to the 7 characters in its M!X counterpart. This variant of Tamagotchi Meets does not currently have a planned international release.Gudetama serves as the central character of the Gudetama Tamagotchi; each evolution is actually Gudetama taking on a different form at each stage. Some forms are based on other characters from the Gudetama franchise. Current Mood: The user can ask how the Tamagotchi is feeling and how they respond is based off their bond with the user and how well their care is. Star Catch (Melody & Spacy) : Stars and UFOs will move slowly from the top of the screen to the bottom, and when the word "CATCH!" appears, the user must press either A (left) or B (right) to catch the object that begins to fall. The button must be pressed once for stars and twice for UFOs. If the button isn't pressed in time, or the wrong button is pressed, the game is over. The player must catch 10 times for a perfect game. Egg Match (Game Corner, Pastel): The tamagotchi will be standing in front of 15 bushes which will briefly show what's behind them (14 eggs and 1 bunny). The bushes will hide their contents again and the user must select the bushes hiding eggs with matching designs while avoiding selecting the bunny which will end the game.
