I love Dave pigeon books I think they should make make they are just so interesting my favourite character is Dave but skipper is really fun too I love them so much the book really inspires me to write one of my own with my imagination This book is absolutely ridiculous, in the funniest way. The Gigglers are such a brilliant creation, and the way they punish grown ups for telling off children is genius. Prepare yourself for a lot of sniggering! 4. The first Dave Pigeon book was the winner of the North Somerset Teachers’ Book Award, Read Aloud Category 2016, the winner of Surrey Libraries’ Children’s Book Award 2017, and a winner of the Fantastic Book Awards 2018. Swapna then moved to New Zealand where she continues to write, loves to read and eats Jaffa Cakes. We love the Dave Pigeon books. They make us laugh so much. One time, the author and illustrator came to our school and we acted out a story. My favourite bit was doing the drawing and meeting the author because she was kind and funny.
